Recent customer purchased and installed IPS modules in their Cisco ASA Firewalls.  Once the IPS is licensed/registered with CCO, auto updates can be configured for Signature Events.  The IPS references a Cisco URL and then your CCO credentials are passed for authorization.  The auto update process will fail if your CCO username contains an “@” …..as in user@domain.com.  The logs will not show the reason for the failure…but to correct, create a new CCO account without an “@”.
